Relevant, engaging, fun.
Really Good First Aid was founded by Rupert Goolden – an outdoor enthusiast who, having attended many first aid courses in his time, identified a need for a more interactive and enjoyable first aid experience.
In 2006, Rupert became an ITC First Aid approved trainer and proceeded to set up Really Good First Aid, offering an extensive range of First Aid Courses and Qualifications throughout Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and The South West, for both urban and remote environments.
Several years later, Really Good First Aid has gone from strength to strength, and company owner, Rupert, continues to pride himself on offering a personal, friendly and helpful service to all.
Rupert has worked in many sectors of the outdoor industry, with a cross section of people and society, in the UK and abroad. He has led expeditions to the developing world for the likes of Raleigh, World Challenge and Wilderness Expertise, during which, he has summitted 6,000m, built jungle bashers, skied, dived, driven, trekked, sailed and rafted.
Rupert has also attained the following awards and qualifications:
- Summer ML
- Winter Training
- BCU Level 3 Coach Inland
- RYA Senior Dinghy Instructors
- Power Boat Instructors
- Advanced Open Water Diver
- JEEP off Road Instructor
- Brathay Train the Trainer

Rupert’s experience means we can provide tailor made courses for individuals and groups, whatever their working environment or needs.
